Once you have setup a contact the app will start dialing as soon as you tap on the app icon. Call my Darling also gives you the option to start a sms text message or lets you choose beetwenn call or sms if you want. The app has a nice eye candy (emit hearts with you finger while configuring the app) and a nice application icon wich fits perfect to the native apps on the homescreen and doesnt clash.
If you want to change the contact to call just do this into the iPhone Settings. Enable "change contact" and the next time you start the app you can set a new contact to call/sms.

*** Note: You cannot start a call or sms message with this app when you are using an ipod touch, the email application will be launched instead.

Works exactly as expected! I love that you can set it to either call or text, and ask for a confirmation (handy when your toddler likes to press buttons willy nilly).
A five-star app falls to one. No longer works right... when ending a call, the app now forces a vicious loop of auto-dialing the person back. Only recourse is to shut down the phone. Bummed because this app used to be the perfect one-click to call solution.
i love this app but in ios6 dosent work!
I just downloaded this app and when I go to set the contact it crashes every time, so I spent $.99 for nothing!! Buyer beware and do not buy this app! Also when you go to app support I got a 404 error message so they are nowhere to be found for support!! Fraudulent!!!
